It is rated IP66, which is defined for continual operation in extremely dusty and wet environments with minimal losses in performance and practically no decrease in lifespan or reliability. The fixture housing can also withstand stress and impact wear, which allows the fixture to be used in harsh environments or areas that may direct low pressure water spray at the fixture.
